What Affects Processing Time

The UK Government controls the processing timeline. We submit your application — they decide how long it takes. Factors that may affect duration:

  • Peak travel seasons — higher volumes may increase processing time
  • Incomplete information — errors or missing data can cause delays
  • Additional security checks — some applications are flagged for extra review
  • Public holidays — UK Government offices do not process during bank holidays

About "Express" Processing

Some agencies charge extra for "express" or "priority" processing. Here is the math:

Claim Reality
"Express" processing All applications go through the same UK Government pipeline. No third-party can accelerate it.
"Priority" review The UK Home Office does not offer priority lanes for ETA applications.
"Guaranteed" timeline No one can guarantee a government processing timeline. Anyone who does is misleading you.

We do not charge for something that does not exist. Your application is processed at the same speed regardless of what you pay us.

Tracking Your Application

You will receive email notifications at each stage. You can also log in to your account to check real-time status. Status codes are explained on our Track Status page.

Recommendation

Apply at least 1 week before your planned departure. The UK Government sets the processing timeline — no third-party service can accelerate it. During peak seasons (summer, holidays), consider applying 2 weeks in advance.
