Cancel Application
Need to cancel? Here is the process, eligibility, and what happens to your fees.
How to Cancel
- 01Log in to your account and go to "My Applications."
- 02Select the application you want to cancel and click "Request Cancellation."
- 03Confirm the cancellation. You will receive an email confirming the request has been received.
Cancellation Eligibility

What Happens After Cancellation
- • Your application status will change to CANCELLED.
- • If eligible, refunds are processed within 5–10 working days to the original payment method.
- • You will receive a confirmation email with the cancellation details and refund amount (if applicable).
- • Cancelled applications cannot be reinstated. You will need to submit a new application if you still need an ETA.
Common Cancellation Reasons
- • Travel plans changed or trip cancelled
- • Submitted a duplicate application by mistake
- • Entered incorrect information that cannot be modified
- • No longer require UK entry
Before You Cancel
If you need to change details on your application rather than cancel it entirely, consider submitting a modification request instead. Modifications are free and may save you from resubmitting. Review the refund policy for full details on fee eligibility.
